Help Support Erin's Family as They Say Goodbye

Donation protected
No one can say she didn't try. My god, how she tried.

Spring of 2022, Erin was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. Surgery was immediate and then came the chemo. She'd had back pain but never would have guessed that cancer would have been the cause.
Mere months later, her eldest daughter, Avery, had a spinal condition that caused her to be paralyzed. She'll be in a wheelchair the rest of her life. She's a freshmen in high school. They have had to move to a new home that is accessible.
Juggling a differently-abled teenage daughter, a kindergartner, and cancer treatments was certainly no small feat. There were days when she couldn't even keep down her food but she was still at every classroom gathering and school function. Her condition elevated to Stage 4.
Her long-time partner, Sam, worked to support the family the best he could during this time. A few GoFundMe's were set up to help provide assistance.
This past six months, Erin took a turn for the worst and she's been steadily declining. At this point, chemo is no longer an option and she's unable to keep any nutrients down. Hospice has been called in and we are now preparing to say goodbye to our friend.
There's not many folks like Erin out there. She's honest without cruelty, brave without hesitation. Her role as a mother has taken priority since she first held baby Avery in her arms all those years ago, and was only strengthened when little Miss Veda arrived. Her girls are her everything and she's clinging to life for them.
Erin has survived quite a bit. I won't share all that as it's not only hard to hear, but her story to share, not mine. But I can tell you this....I admire her so. We all do. She's faced adversity like I've never known and still tackles the day with humor, grace, and intellect. She's a damn superhero. And she has to leave her babies.
She's worried for their future, and who can blame her? Any mother out there would understand.
So, here we are. And that's what this GoFund Me is for. To give her peace of mind. To know that, at least financially, we can come together to offer support to Sam and the girls while they navigate funeral services and take time off work. While they do the unthinkable and say goodbye to the backbone of their family.
Please consider donating and sharing. Her community already loves her. Let's do what little we can.
Thank you.
