In October 2014, my dear friend Erin was diagnosed with leukemia. Since then she's been fighting this battle with strength, grace, and humor. Many friends, neighbors and family members have stepped up to help during this time, and every little bit is appreciated!
Well, cancer has upped the ante. Erin will be going to Houston on Monday July 13 for chemo and, eventually, a bone marrow transplant. After a one month hospitalization, she will need to stay in Houston until October or November to complete the treatment.
In the meantime, she needs to rent an apartment and a car, buy meals and her beloved Starbucks, and bring Mike and the kids out a couple of times for visits.
So, since the treatment will be taking place out of state and we can't show our love and support by dropping off a meal or a cup of coffee, please consider making a donation to offset these costs. Any donation will go a long way toward making this treatment less of a burden for the family. All donations will go to living and medical expenses during the transplant process.
