Erin Tuggle Fund for TA Sims Elementary School
Donation protected
This is a fundraiser for TA Sims Elementary School in Fort Worth in honor of Erin Tuggle, a beloved 4th grade teacher, daughter, sister and friend who tragically passed away on May 1st.
My sister Erin brought an infectious, bright, and loving energy to every room she entered, and her classroom at TA Sims was no different. She was devoted to her students, always coming up with new ways to make their learning fun and engaging. She often used her own money to buy extra supplies for projects and loved decorating and organizing her classroom. When I visited her at work before the pandemic, I loved how adoringly they all looked up to Ms. Tuggle, and I marveled at Erin's patience and care for all of them. She touched the lives of many students in her 12 years at TA Sims. Her generosity of spirit was embodied in her devotion to her Altruismo teammates. She'd recently started coaching the kids in softball and was so excited about it.
In honor of Erin's giving heart and school spirit, we're raising money for TA Sims Elementary in her name. First, for her students, including some struggling with losing a beloved teacher, we want to arrange a pizza party for the end of the school year. And then for her fellow teachers, we want to help purchase school supplies, upgrade equipment and support the extra-curricular activities Erin loved so much.
I know it would mean the world to Erin to be able to give back to the school, so please consider donating anything you can to help out and keep her memory and charitable spirit alive.
