Erin and Steven Need Our Help
Donation protected
Neighbors and Friends,
Erin O'Connor Brown and Steven Brown have had a horrible year. Each facing devastating medical issues, being kicked out of their apartment, and the sudden tragic loss of their beloved foster-fail dog, Shaw.
Erin is the nicest, most compassionate, and lively person we know. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She has a long, challenging road ahead of her.
Steven is the life of our neighbor's group, a very outgoing and enthusiastic person. He was diagnosed with an aggressive infection in his foot that required multiple hospital stays, operations, and courses of super antibiotic treatments. He awaits the all-clear from his doctors. Prognosis looks good.
Shaw was a sweet, friendly dog who suddenly passed away on one fateful day in the middle of all the commotion in their lives.
We help our neighbors with emotional support, but the need for financial support is great due to their basic medical insurance and high deductibles. Please consider donating to help our dear friends through this difficult time in their lives.
