Erin Kerr in the Critical Care Unit at Metro

Thank you for taking the time to visit this site!

Erin had blurred vision and muffled hearing for a few weeks. She reached out to her doctor and went to the emergency room and was told she had a pinched muscle. Her symptoms worsened, and she was admitted to MetroHealth's Emergency Room on Thursday, Nov 7. She had a whirl-wind stay after an emergent stent was placed to prevent her from having a stroke. She just transferred from the ICU to a medicine floor today with plans to go to a rehab center until she is fully ready to go home. This might take a couple more weeks.

Throughout this time Erin has been calm, brave, and positive. She has been surrounded by her family, Andy, Shannon, Peg, Paul, and more, and her boyfriend, Brendan. She is doing well. She is expected to fully recover.

Erin started a new job a few months ago. She mentioned to me multiple times that she is worried that she may not have enough sick time to cover her time away from work (which she says she can't wait to get back to!). Brendan has also taken off work extensively so that he can be at Erin's side.

Please consider donating whatever you can (even $10 is helpful) towards her medical expenses and other daily expenses that might not be covered.

I humbly thank you!
