This is tough. I don't know what to say. Erin, I, & our 2 doodles are safe. My sister & brother-in-law have graciously let us stay with them since being evacuated. As of right now our Altadena home is still standing. For some insane reason our street survived while the homes of neighbors around us are gone. We don't know when we will be able to access our property again but we do know the smoke damage, ash, asbestos, lead, chemicals, everything in the air is so intense we don't know what we will be able to salvage.

A lot of our friends & family have reached out asking how they can help. We are humbly recognizing the financial burden of this situation. If it feels appropriate your help will allow us to address this challenging time, to cover unexpected costs, & to get back on our feet. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.

We will continue to help our community, neighbors, & local businesses as best we can throughout this period. Erin & I love Altadena so much & acknowledge how fortunate we are compared to some of our friends & neighbors. Life has immeasurably changed but people are resilient. We appreciate every single person in our lives, even if it's been a minute since we last spoke. 2025 is going to be a long rough transition. We love you all.
