Erin Huizen's Memorial Fund

On Nov. 24th, our beloved Erin passed away after a year and a half battle with cancer. Erin's light was inextinguishable, and her ability to make us smile and laugh, even in the most trying times, will be greatly missed by all.

My family would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us in the wake of her passing. Your continued support of her immediate family members Kelly, Clayton, Mark, Gale, and Rick is appreciated so much; this loss of a wife, mother, daughter, and sister has been immensely difficult.

Many of you may already know that Erin was a lover of the outdoors and grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan. In response to the many requests for a memorial fund, we’ve decided to place a memorial bench on the shores of Lake Michigan in a state park where friends and family can go to remember her and think of all the times they shared together.  The cost of this bench will be $500.  Any additional money left over from this fund will be placed in a trust for Erin and Kelly's son, Clayton, to have access to as an adult.
