Erin Hates Leukemia!!!

Hey Everyone! As many of you know, one of my best friends, Erin, was just recently diagnosed with Leukemia (AML).  Although this is definitely not how or where she was planning on spending the end of Winter, she is being treated by some of the best at Brigham and Women’s and Dana Farber in Boston.  There aren’t many people like Erin; I don’t think the girl has negative bone in her body.  She is always so positive, would do anything for anyone and is always thinking about other people and how she can make them happy.  Two days before Erin was diagnosed, Drew, the love of her life, proposed. They also just bought a house together this past Spring.  The last thing we want Erin worrying about is being out of work and about how she is going to pay for her home and everything else while going through her treatment here in Boston.  Friends don’t let friends fight Leukemia alone! I’m hoping we can all fight this monster with Erin, and hopefully take some of the extra weight off of her shoulders so that she can get back home with her family and back to the OR (not as a patient)!!! As we all know, anything helps, even just sharing this page anywhere you can! She will beat this and she will be walking down that aisle as soon as we know it! Thanks so much for all of the love and prayers already, they mean the world to Erin I will definitely keep everyone posted!  She is half way through her first round of chemo now!!
