Erin Capotosto's Recovery Fund
Spende geschützt
Dear friends, family, and community members,
Recently, my best friend Erin and I had a chance to catch up. As moms, we were both looking forward to summer weekends with our kids and husbands. She was so happy to be coaching her daughter's soccer team, and proud that Liam was going to be starting middle school next September. Time flies, we said.
Then just two weeks ago, she started to come down with strange symptoms- headaches, slurred speech, and blurred vision. She visited her doctor who sent her to Mass General in Boston for further tests. Erin has been at Mass General since June 13 where doctors have been struggling to diagnose her complex condition. Scans of her brain have shown irregularities that are leaving her with limited speech and other neurological problems. On June 22, neurosurgeons biopsied the area and the family is anxiously waiting for a diagnosis and action plan.
It goes without saying that this has been a shocking and surreal course of events. Going from planning summer vacations to instead planning for long-term hospitalization and care has been awful for Erin and Joe. Many people have been asking how they can help, and Erin and her family need financial resources to allow them to take time off work in order to battle this illness.
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in Erin's journey. Your kindness and compassion will alleviate the financial strain, offering her hope and the chance to focus on her recovery rather than worrying about medical bills and other expenses.
Please consider donating to Erin's GoFundMe campaign today. Additionally, sharing this campaign with your social networks will help us spread the word and reach others who may be willing to lend a helping hand.
Erin always says that raising a family takes a village and that she feels very lucky to have an amazing community around her. Let's rally around Erin, Joe, Liam, and Aria during this challenging time and show them that they are loved beyond measure. Thank you for your unwavering kindness, compassion, and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
