She was strong, beautiful, funny, hard working, loving, caring, fun, amazing with kids, determined, could make anyone feel special, and almost always had a smile on her face. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, The Beatles (especially Paul), laughing, talking, being goofy, her Mom, the ocean, coffee, eating vegetables, a beautiful garden, staying up late, watching movies, and talking. Did I mention talking? So many of my friends love her, and, of course, I love her. We didn't always agree, but when I became a mom myself, I understood her so much more. I have so much gratitude for what she has done for my brothers and me. She fought for us, loved us, believed in us, provided for us, and encouraged us to be the best we could be. I can't believe she is gone, and in such a tragic way. My mom was taken, stolen from me, Andy, Carleigh, Mikey, Chaz, Liz, their unborn baby, Jason, Jen, Billy and so many others. Her life was cut short. She was brutally murdered in my childhood home by an evil monster. But her soul will rise up, and her memory and spirit will live on. I will never forget your last visit in November. I wish I'd known it was the last time I'd see you on Earth. I would've hugged you longer as I said goodbye. I wish I could give you one more of my, "God, you're so annoying" looks so I could secretly love the way you pull me closer. I love you Mom. I miss you.
