Hello everyone. I'm Erin's only child, Jessica.

On September 15th my mom drove herself to the hospital and hasn't left since. She fought like crazy even being diagnosed with Pnemonia and Covid. After 2 weeks of struggle she was put on a ventilator and sedated. Those entire 2 weeks she was nothing but her normal, happy, beautiful, wonderful self. She was worried about her friends and family while we were all worried about her. Now she fights for her life. She has Chronic Pulmonary Fibrosis that has been caused by her sickness and we are looking at having to have a possible lung transplant when she is stable long enough. We wait everyday for good news, and as scary as it is to see the people on TV saying "No one survives" I know my mother will. She has to, because her first grandson was just born in June. On our last phone call before she was put under she told me to hug and kiss him everyday for her.

My mom is a fighter. After raising me as a single parent, she met my dad and they have been happily together for 10 years. We have been struggling to pay all the medical and home bills with my mom in the hospital. So I'm doing something my mom and I only did to each other, and I am asking for help.
