My name is Ashley and I am fundraising for the Baumann family. If you have ever been a part of UND athletics or Special Olympics you know who this is. An absolute gem of a family! Last week, on their way to California for a family vacation, Erin needed to be seen at a local ER in Las Vegas. She has double pneumonia and needed to be sedated and intubated to allow her lungs to heal without her having to work so hard. As the days go on in the ICU, multiple tests are being done as the doctors are more and more concerned about other organ functions mostly her heart. With Erin in critical condition, they will continue their stay in Las Vegas while needing to access hotels, rentals, meals, etc. The family continues to share updates on their Facebook page.
