Greetings friends! I am hoping to help out a friend, Erik, who is paralyzed due to a battle with Gullain-Barre Syndrome since March 2015.

Erik is an extraordinary guy with enough energy to transform a business meeting into a dance party! He has great love for his friends & family and tries to spend as much time with them as possible. You can often find him in the kitchen cooking up wicked tasty enchiladas and baking chocolate chip cookies! As an avid film enthusiast, he recently found his path to happiness when he started working for a film production house in NYC. But sadly, it wasn't long after he started his new career that he fell violently ill one evening and was rushed to the hospital. What was in store was beyond anything we ever imagined.

His symptoms progressively got worse and he spent a month in the ICU where he was diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder called Gullain-Barre Syndrome . He  can not speak or move, and is surviving on a ventilator and feeding tube. GBS is a long and difficult road, and it could take up to a year to regain enough strength to walk again and lead a normal life. Erik has since been relocatede to a Neurological Care Specialist in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and will be confined to his bed for many months to come. Sitting in a chair has proven to be quite painful for any length of time and despite his paralysis he still feels pain.

With your help we can give Erik the encouragement and motivation he needs to keep his spirits high and help him with his increasing medical bills.
