Erika's Medical Fund

Your donations will help pay for medical bills, prescriptions, and other bills that are piling up for Erika and Stevan. Erikas husband has taken off the next month of work to help Erika through this tough time in her life and will not be getting paid for the time he's taking off.
 Erika's health issues began in January starting with strept throat. Within the next few months she was suffering with ear infections, pluerisy, shortness of breath, fatigue and back pain. Erika was in and out of the doctors office, urgent care and the hospital until April 13th she recieved a call to go directly to a emergency room. Erika was dignosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Blood Cancer) and is at UNMC fighting it with aggressive chemo and is also taking part in clinical trials to help others with similar cancers. At age 26, Erika started her journey to fight her cancer and has a long and hard journey ahead of her. Every dollar that is raised past the goal amount will be doubled by Stevans (Erikas husband) work, BNSF Railway. Which is owned by Warren Buffett, who has a program that doubles any donation made by a BNSF employee.  It will be donated to the American Caner Society.
