On Saturday February 27th the world lost a beautiful light when Erika Bowie passed away unexpectedly. Erika was an extraordinary mother to Ean, Evan and Emonn, stepmother to Jamai, and devoted wife to Jason. She is remembered by her family and friends as fiercely proud of her 3 wonderful children, so in love with Jason; the man of her dreams, smart, funny, feisty, a natural leader and a loyal friend and supporter of everyone she cared about.
Funds raised through this campaign will cover the costs of funeral services, conducted by Freeman Funeral Services, P.A. and to assist Jason in taking over parenting upexpectedly as a single father. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place next week.
Thank you so very much to everyone who has reached out thus far, it means the world to the family to feel supported. Erika was a strong believer in creating and sustaining community to give her children every opportunity. In honor of our love for her lets come together now and lift up Jason, Ean, Evan, Emonn and Jamai.
