Erika's Fight

Meet Erika, and her 2 babies, Diesel and Layla. Erika's life has been a normal one, like you and I. Going to work, enjoying life, spending precious moments with her loved ones. She has worked hard all her life, waitressing for over 30 years. She has spent her life helping and encouraging others, asking for nothing in return.  In May, 2018 Erika was diagnosed with stage 4 Cervical Cancer.  She's been fighting so hard ever since. She always had the support of her soulmate and love of her life, until Cancer struck him as well, in December, 2018. Erika lost him after a very brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite her devastating diagnosis and her very tragic, unexpected loss, she has remained kind, appreciative, and hopeful for better days ahead.  Everything has happened so quickly, there was no plan in place to relieve the financial burden.  Erika is now struggling financially and emotionally, not being able to work herself. Her biggest concern is that she will be able to live in an affordable place where she can take care of her babies. So she may be able to have a few good moments  without constant worry on a daily basis.  Any money raised will go directly to help her pay rent, medical bills and living expenses.  Her driving force and will to live are her 2 babies, Diesel and Layla. Unfortunately, being unable to work, her sad reality is to give up her babies, as she will most likely have to relocate. Imagine having to give up the 2 most precious beings in your life! Having stage 4 cancer alone is tragic, accompanied by the stress of bills quickly mounting on a daily basis is very scary. If we can make her daily life a little better and assure her, she's not alone, maybe even see a smile on that beautiful face, no matter how bad she may feel.  If you could find it in your heart to help Erika, she would be forever grateful.
