We are heartbroken to share that on November 8, Erika passed away just outside of Mexico City following a tragic skydiving accident.

As many of you know, Erika was a fearless free spirit with a boundless, generous heart. Her talent as a painter and set designer was extraordinary - truly one of a kind.

The last message we received from her was sent from Mexico after a day of base jumping, telling us that she had "the best day of her life." She lived every moment with joy, courage, and intention. And though her time with us was far too short, knowing she spent her final day doing what she loved most offers us a small ray of light in an incredibly difficult time.

Our family is deeply grateful for the love, support, and kindness that so many of you have already shown. In lieu of flowers our family is accepting donations to set up the Erika Zonderland Art Scholarship.
