Erika Harding Leighton's Memorial Fund

Hi all, my name is Somer, and I'm writing you today about the sudden, unexpected death of our dear friend Erika Harding Leighton, who passed away in her home on Thursday, 12/29/2022.

Erika had such a distinct and infectious laugh that I think we can all agree could not be matched, but demanded we join. She would feed anyone, even off of her own plate, and treated us all like family. She loved music, animals and had an amazing sense of humor. She would call you, "sweetheart", "dork" or "twat(waffle)" in an endearing way that would always bring a smile to your face. An amazing mother to her two daughters, Sara (Sawyer) Leighton and Brooke Carr, and a friend to all. She was loved by so many and will be incredibly missed.

We have initiated this fundraiser to support her family with her final expenses. Sara, having suddenly lost her beloved mother, now has been tasked with honoring her memory. We're asking for donations to help alleviate the financial burden and to plan Erika's memorial.

Although her passing brings such devastation, let's make sure she gets the send-off she deserves! I look forward to sharing stories with all of you about this incredible woman. Please consider donating if you can.
