This is Erika, 30 year old amazing woman who I have called my daughter for 20 years now.

She was diagnosed with Stage III Colon Cancer in 2021 and fought a tough battle for about 8 months. For a few months of follow-up showed no signs of metastatic disease and thought we were in the clear. Our worst fears have now became a new reality and has returned in several different places.

She just recently had surgery at Mayo to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes, as well as a spot on her pelvis removed. Now has to start chemo next week to try to shrink the spots on her lungs that are growing rapidly. She will be doing treatment for at least six months to see how her body reacts and to see what else is needed to fight the cancer cells.
