Our beloved friend Erik Raleigh passed into Spirit unexpectedly on Wednesday May 5.
His wife Kelley, and 5 year-old son Zane came home that evening to find Erik without a pulse and unresponsive in the backyard. The cause of his death is currently unknown. His call records reveal that he had called 911. He was painting the outdoor furniture and planting flowers in the backyard to prepare for Zane's upcoming birthday party.
Kelley and Erik celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary the day before. Kelley wanted to share these simple words, "Erik was the love of my life and Zane's best friend." He had a love for life and people. Everyone he met loved him. He was very proud of his family as it was his highest achievement. He brought so much joy and laughter wherever he went and was an adventurer by nature. He was always about unity and loved being a teacher to Zane. Saying he will be missed is an understatement.
Erik was on staff with John-Roger, his spiritual teacher, for many years, and is an ordained Minister. He shared his huge loving heart through his healing gifts, music and always brought laughter to every room with his witty humor and playful spirit.
Anything you can contribute to memorialize Erik's beautiful life, and to help Kelley and Zane face these challenging times ahead is profoundly appreciated. Erik was the family provider and our intention is to ease this transition for his beloved wife and son during this heartbreaking transition.
All funds donated will be provided directly to Kelley to assist with funeral costs, memorial services, and any other need the family has.
