Erik Bolhafner Medical Relief Fund

On March 7, 2019, Erik was involved in a 70 mph head-on car accident due to a wrong way driver.  After he self extracted himself from his smashed vehicle, he was transported via medical helicopter to St. Louis.  His family and friends then learned the extent of his injuries. He has many lacerations over his body, broken ribs, and his right leg was shattered.  As one of the doctors put it, they will have to do a puzzle to put Humpty Dumpty back together again! His femur is broke in two places and the tibia and fibula are shattered. He had his first surgery (over 5 hours long) hours after the accident. He has at least two more surgeries to follow, not to mention, months of rehabilitation to recover from the injuries. His family lives 1.5 hours away from the hospital so, as you can imagine, travel expenses will be one of the many financial hardships this family will be dealing with on top of the medical bills and lost wages.
