As you know, Eric (a.k.a Cappa) suffered a stroke this past November. The stroke affected primarily his memory and cognitive function. He is currently working with several therapist to help regain what was lost. Over the past few weeks he has made great strides in his recovery, but still has a long road ahead of him.

 

To say the least, this has been a huge adjustment for our family. On average, Eric has 7 appointments a week and therapy homework each day. He also requires supervision most of the day and needs help with daily activities. I have hired a part time home nurse to help assist Eric with daily needs and to alleviate some of the stress with caring for Eric while taking care of our two young children.

 

Eric has had two additional hospitalizations, two ER visits, and one surgery since the stroke.  

 

He has been out of work since the stroke and  we are still unsure of when he will return to work. I am reaching out to ask for help with our ongoing medical expenses. These funds will be used to help offset the cost of Eric’s recovery.
