Hi, my name is Vic and I've set up this page to help support my specail friend, Kate. Kate is not only a work colleague but also an absolutely brilliant, kin-hearted friend who is always someone to rely on when times are tough; now it's Kate's turn to have the support from others that she always, without question, gives to others.

Kate lost her beloved, best mate, fur baby Eric a few weeks ago. Eric wasn't just a pet, he meant the whole world and more to Kate. All of Kate's friends and work colleagues were updated daily (often multiple times a day ) of Eric's antics, nose bleed incidents and hand feeding antics. We all loved Eric, but nobody in the world loved him more than his mum, Kate.

Sadly the time came when Kate knew Eric wasn't himself and although it broke her heart into a million pieces, she knew she needed to do what was right for her baby. Eric was put to sleep with Kate by his side - she was and still is absolutely heartbroken

Obviously the cost of the vets and having Eric's ashes back home where he belongs has been extremely costly. Kate works so hard and never has or will ask for anything - she's a strong woman. That is why I have set up this go fund me to try and lessen the pain and support our lovely Kate financially while she tries to rebuild her life without Eric by her side, although he is definitely with her in spirit.
