On the evening of July 4th, my brother Erick had a large hemorrhagic stroke while cooking his favorite dish for my seven year old nephew. The boy called for help, giving him a chance to survive.

Erick is hospitalized in the intensive care unit, requiring still heavy sedation, tracheostomy and fighting pneumonia. He is a hard working loving father, dedicated to his family and to my mom. He loves to gardening , painting and cooking.
