Because Erick’s liver officially starting failing two years ago, his short and long term disability was denied. We are applying for disability with the government, but we all know how that goes. In the meantime, I cannot cover all of Erick’s medicines, copays, food, rent, utilities, and all the other day-to-day bills we have with my check alone. Any amount would help us and if you can’t give, please remember us in your prayers. We have three kids and two granddaughters that we want Erick to be able to watch grow up. I have already researched and learned that even with BCBS Medical Insurance, this transplant will cost us close to $100,000.
