Eric Kludt's Family Recovery Efforts after Devastating Fire

Last Saturday morning, a fire engulfed the attic of Eric's house and led to a cascade of catastrophic events — water system activation, flooding, ceiling collapse, and extensive damage across their home.

The fire ravaged through the attic, its ferocity prompting a response from the household water system. While it managed to douse the flames, it simultaneously induced extensive water damage throughout their walls. The ceilings, burdened by the weight and damage caused the drywall and insulation to collapse. This left not just the structure, but also the fond memories and possessions accumulated over the years, in ruins.

With no choice but to watch their home become unrecognizable, the feelings of loss and distress were palpable. However, Eric and his family were reminded of the resilience of the human spirit, thanks especially to the outpouring of concern and readiness to aid from the community around them.

This GoFundMe campaign is an effort by Eric's colleagues at the Fox Technology Center (FTC) and the extended FOX family to gather support.
