Howdy!! I am Ericka Ross!
As an artist, sacrifice is a common word in my vocabulary. Sacrifice of time, money, missed family events, sleep, blood, sweat, tears and sometimes FOOD! :) But as an artist, I know that I am using my God given talent to make the world a better and brighter place. Now that gift has landed me a place in the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in the United Kingdom!! To say that I am a ball of emotions is putting it lightly. To audition and be accepted out of THOUSANDS is a truly humbling experience. To pursue my craft and to grow as an artist and human being in a country far from home is exciting, liberating and truly an honor.
Also EXPENSIVE!
So I share my story and love for my craft to ask for assistance in raising funds to get me to LAMDA!!!
I have never been out of the country before, so learning about all of the different fees, visas, housing (not supplied by the University), transportation, healthcare and more has been a little daunting.
At LAMDA, I will be pursuing a graduate degree in Classical Performance. This masters combined with my other education will assist me in helping children and develop them into well-round people using the Arts as a platform. Not just better performers, but better students and leaders! I could go on and on about my platform but I dont think this website allows disertations! Hehe!! So I reach out to MY community of Artists, Friends, Family and the World! I am asking for your love and light to see me through to LAMDA!
I know it is a lot of me to ask, but if you have $1, $5,$10, or ANYTHING to help me continue my education and goals, all I can say is Thank you for your support and I promise to pay it forward!
