Erick Acidera Medical Fund

On behalf of Erick Acidera’s family and friends I would like to say that Erick is one of the most kind, generous and caring people that we have ever known. If you have the pleasure of knowing him, you know exactly what we mean.  Within one month Erick has gone from a healthy, vibrant husband, father, avid fisherman and photographer to having a seriously ill life threatening disease.  Diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma known as Primary Mediastinal Large B Cell Lymphoma, we are starting this financial campaign to support Erick, Marisa and Elijah.  This is going to be a long and challenging journey.  Especially related to medical and other expenses. Erick has begun a five month treatment program which will consist of cycles of six days of chemo therapy at Straub Hospital in Honolulu with Erick returning to Maui for two weeks and then back to Honolulu for further treatment.  Erick is a key member of the Maui Food Bank leadership team and has been faithfully serving the poor and helping the hungry for 5 ½ years.  It is our deep desire that given everything this wonderful family needs to focus on, financial burdens will not be one of them.  Thank you for any help you can provide.  Every dollar will go a long way to ease the financial hardship due to this life altering experience.
