Ericka Lane’s fight with a brain tumor

There has been something wrong for a few months. Ericka has had countless Dr. appts with no real answers. Many things were not just right. Last Monday night her kids convinced to her to go to the ER again. This time brought devastating answers. A brain tumor.

Monday night Ericka was brought to the University of Minnesota hospital by ambulance. Many test and scans have happen since with only a few answers.

Tomorrow 10/6/2021 we will hopefully learn more with brain surgery scheduled.

Her children Christina, Natasha and Reegan have not left her side since.

Ericka unfortunately was not financially prepared for anything like this. There will be many medical bills, recovery tools and obviously she will not be working for a long time.

We are praying hard that they get the whole tumor and it’s not cancer. Ericka is the most compassionate, caring and just nicest women you will ever meet. She has always been a center piece in our family as well as many others. She would give you the shirt off her back as well as her last dollar. She has such a big heart.

Her profession is a caretaker at a group home. It’s now our turn to take of her. She is easy to love and has held her head up high and smiles on her face this whole week.

Ericka being an amazing cook, she has always loved making homemade soup. She has made sure that if we create a GoFundMe she wanted people to know if they donated she will make them homemade soup when she is healed.

She has also requested prayers.
