My Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

Allow me to first give all the glory and honor to my Lord and Savior for extending his mercy and grace to my son, Erick.  It is a miracle that Erick is alive! The trauma team at Hackensack Hospital is dumbfounded with Erick's quick recovery. We are all in awe that Erick did not suffer not one injury to his head and is not paralyzed. It could have been so much worse.  It is miraculous! The Lord did it for my mom and He did it again for my son.

On November 2, 2018, my son, Erick, suffered a fall from a cliff at Interstate Palisades Park. He fell eighty (80) feet down and was trapped on a cliff ledge for several hours before he was rescued.  The three links below give a brief explanation of the incident. Erick suffered multiple injuries and fractures: rib fracture, punctured lungs, punctured spleen grade  4, multiple fractures on left foot, two large wounds on his left thigh, fracture patellar on the right knee, minor spinal and neck fractures and          bone bruises.

Erick will not be able to return to work for a few months due to these injuries and the time it requires to recover.  I, myself, am not be able to return to work full time until Erick recovers. I have been working part time since May 2018 because my mother suffered a stroke on March 3, 2018. The past few months have been financially hard for me and right when I was about to return to work full time, I am faced with another family member nearly facing death. His girlfriend, Janery has been affected by this as well.  Both emotionally and financially.  Janery saw Erick fall of the cliff and did not know of Erick's condition until she got to the hospital.  This has traumatized her in a deep way.  She is not able to work full time because she has been helping me care for Erick.

We have incurred many expenses since Erick's hospitalization.  We live in East Harlem and the incident took place in New Jersey.  Gas and toll was a huge burden while Erick was at the hospital.  The consumption of food and drinks at the hospital was another financial burden and so many other expenses that are connected with these unexpected tragedies.

We are asking for support to offset what we are not able to earn in wages for the next three-four months. Like rent, bills, gas, tolls, food, co-pays, etc.

We will keep you updated with his progress. Great things will come out of this!

May the Lord bless each and every one who supports Erick through this difficult time. Thank you.
