We come to you today with a heartfelt plea on behalf of our beloved brother and friend, Erick Dreher. Last September, Erick's life took an unexpected and devastating turn when he was struck by a truck, leaving him with severe injuries that have altered the course of his life.

Erick is currently battling the challenges of multiple facial and cranial fractures, numerous rib fractures, a crushed sternum, an initial brain bleed, excruciating and prolonged pain, balance problems (ICD-10 code: R26.89), concussion with loss of consciousness (ICD-10 code: S06.0X9A), cognitive changes (ICD-10 code: F), dizziness (ICD-10 code: R42), and neck pain (ICD-10 code: M54.2). These injuries have not only brought physical pain but have also posed significant obstacles to his daily life and overall well-being.

To add to the complexity of his situation, Erick is legally blind and faces a myriad of physical handicaps, making his journey towards recovery even more challenging. Due to his visual impairment and physical limitations, Erick is unable to drive, rendering him ineligible for a driver's license. This unique circumstance means that his injuries are unable to be covered by any form of car insurance or otherwise, placing a tremendous financial burden on him and his family.
