Eric worked so hard to get where he is in spite of the odds against him.  He has lost many young cousins and friends due to youth violence. Please help us to help him. Hi everyone,  

My name is Eric R. Gary.  I'm a 14 year old eighth grade scholar from the Homewood inner city area. Currently,
I attend Pittsburgh Sterrett Classical Academy and tThe FAME Academy (Funds for Advancement of Minority Education).  This is an accelerated learning program
for self motivated African American middle school students. It enables financially unable students to attend independent high schools. Participation in the FAME program allows us to shine as we learn to function at a higher level. I have maintained academic excellence in both Academies as I continued to play sports.   As a result of my hard work  throughout the calender year, I have been awarded a scholarship to The Kiski Prep School. The tuition to attend Kiski Prep is $57,400 per year. I have been blessed to receive a financial award of $53,400 towards the tuition. I'm in need of approximately $7,000 more  to enable me to meet my immediate expenses due by June 2017.  

A non-tuition incidental account deposit is required by July 1, 2017. This account is for expenses I will incur that are not covered by tuition, such as, tuition insurance, books, student store purchases (toiletries, school supplies, clothing), haircuts from the school barber, school laundry service, theater or concert tickets for school-sponsored off campus trips, and a weekly allowance. While completing my first year at
Kiski additional unexpected exspenses may also arise.

I realize that l am about to embark upon a new chapter in my life . It is indeed a privilege and an honor to be chosen for this wonderful opportunity.  I'm excited to take on the many challenges that I will face on this  journey!
