Erica's Journey: Healing After Heartbreak

My name is Erica, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share my story in hopes of receiving your support during this incredibly challenging time.

On June 5, 2022, I lost my beloved daughter, Kennedy, to an act of violence that changed my life forever. The pain of that loss was overwhelming, and I struggled deeply with addiction and homelessness as I tried to navigate through my grief. However, I fought hard to overcome these challenges, seeking help and working toward a healthier future for myself and my children.

Recently, I received another devastating blow: a diagnosis of cancer. This news has added to my worries about medical expenses and ensuring my children are taken care of during this difficult journey. As a mother, my first priority is always to provide for my kids, and I’m determined to face this battle head-on.
