Eric and Maggie's adoption fund

Eric and I are super excited to start this new journey in our lives, and we would love for you to be part of finding the missing piece to our puzzle. We have been married since March 2013, and since that time we have been trying to start our own family. Some of you reading this might know our story and others might not, but in June 2013 we finally got pregnant. Now for years I had been told that it was not possible for me to get pregnant so this was huge!!! However the excitement was short lived when we learned that it was ectopic. I went through several months of injections, blood drawls and heartache during this time. After everything was resolved we continued to try for two years without assistance from medications or procedures.
In July 2015 right when I was starting to think it was just a fluke, boom I was pregnant again. However, this time I knew something was wrong. I did not allow myself to get excited or attached, and it was confirmed two weeks later that it was another ectopic, this time they did surgery and removed the tube. They also tested the remaining one and gave us the news that natural pregnancy would not be in our future. I didn't know it then, but subconsciously adoption was something that started forming in my heart and mind. Now fast forward to November 2015, I was sent to a fertility specialist to discuss in-vitro, they re- tested the tube and found it was open and started me on medications to try and ovulate (after the surgery I was not performing this function on my own) 6 months later, and nothing worked, no signs of any improvement and a lot more heartache and anxiety.
Then we went to different specialist, and they suggested injections-which were not covered by our insurance. They also warned us it could increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy, or we could do in-vitro which also was not covered by our insurance for the service or injections. After praying and long talks about our future as parents, we came to the conclusion that Adoption was the path we wanted to take. We have wrestled with international vs domestic, and finally decided on doing a domestic adoption.  Right after we had posted our go fund me page, a birth mother saw our post and requested to speak with us about our situation. she has since then asked us to adopt her babies. That's right I said babies she is expecting twin girls to be born in August/September. Originally we were going to go through an agency, but now we are going to adopt privately through lawyers this drives the cost down some from what the typical agency fee is. We are needing to raise $15,000.00 to cover the attorney fees in TX and NC .This is such a leap of faith, but we know how good our God is. If you decided to donate please know we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.
Love,
Eric and Maggie Rambeaut
