Six months ago, Erica Cyman was diagnosed with breast cancer... we quickly learned that the cancer is stage III, aggressive, metastatic breast cancer. Since that diagnoses, they have found cancer in her lymph-nodes, and thyroid.  In those short six months, Erica has had a total radical mastectomy, she has undergone 6 rounds of chemo-therapy, and continues to charge on. Although she has been fighting, she is not out of the water yet. Not even close. 

For those of you who know Erica, know that is she is tough as nails. She's does so much with very little outside support. Erica is a single mother who has always supported her family. She runs her own business as a in-home daycare provider. Since I have known Erica,  I have always believed she is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. She hasn't complained or asked for help - even when she needed it. Today, today is different... I know that Erica needs help. She needs people to rally around her as she is fighting this awful disease. The truth is she has stage III breast cancer. She is fighting for her life. That alone is no small feat. What you should also know as a single mom she is doing it all while STILL working her in-home childcare business. Yes, you read that correctly- she is literally surviving chemo therapy regularly and taking care of multiple kids all week. 

I have decided to start this Gofundme page to help support Erica. Erica might not ask for the help, she might not let you know how hard her days are right now but I know she needs us. My hopes for this page is for us to raise enough money so that Erica doesn't have to work full-time, worry about paying her mortgage, or her bills while she receives her treatments. My hope is that Erica can focus on her health and let us worry about the rest. Any donation is helpful and will be well received. If you can't donate consider dropping a note in the mail or dropping off a meal, anything would help lift her spirits in this desperate time. No one should fight cancer alone.
