Remembering Erica Shifflet

Erica Jean Shifflet passed away unexpectedly on September 27th, 2022. Erica had battled several health issues in recent years, enduring each one with an inspiring determination not to let her health define her wellbeing. Tragically, Erica's condition quickly deteriorated after complications arose from an emergency surgery on September 26th. With her family around her, she left her embattled body behind-never again to be hindered by chronic pain.

In her 52 years of life, Erica touched all of us with her positive attitude and inspired people to celebrate life's colorful moments. She was a talented photographer with an eye for capturing the beauty of nature and the love between families. Erica was a devoted and fun wife and mother. She truly knew what made her happy in life and she went after it with enthusiasm. While the family is still reeling from this sudden loss, we feel blessed that Erica left us with so many wonderful memories.

Erica always saw the importance of keeping her loved ones informed on her life updates. Words of support and encouragement from her friends and family meant so much to her. Her family is hoping for the same support now. Erica did not have life insurance. The Shifflet family is setting up this fundraiser to ask for your help with some of her remaining medical bills and to help David and Kayden with the most tragic of life adjustments that they are now facing. Please consider lending your financial and emotional support as the family navigates the sudden loss of dear Erica.

The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life in Mesa, Arizona. Details will be shared here when available.
