Erica Shay’s Memorial Services ❤️

Aloha, my name is Katia and I am Erica’s best friend, and also the God mommy to her first born child. I am writing this to ask for help for Erica Shay Pukana Aloha Camacho-Paishon’s Memorial Services and to also help her family in this grieving time who are also caring for her 2 children (ages 4 & 5)

On the early morning of May 9, a few hours after Mother’s Day had ended, Erica was sent to the angels in Heaven.

She was in a terrible car accident that led her vehicle into the lava rocks and up into flames, leaving nothing but her destroyed car, and her precious life.

Her life was just getting better. She was just realizing how important and how beautiful life was. She was meeting new people, making new friends. She got a job that served her and her family financial stability. She was genuinely happy.

Erica was the most kind hearted, loving, courageous, outgoing and funniest person you’d ever meet. Her laugh traveled around the room and made everyone else laugh. She always gave people more than what she had and never asked for anything in return. When her first child was born, Erica dealt with so many challenges, yet she always overcame them. She got a job, graduated high school, got a car, and pretty much stayed afloat by staying strong and doing what she needed to do to give her daughter the best life possible. She then had her son and of course life got harder. She absolutely loved her children with every ounce of her and gave them the world. She was selfless and sacrificed many things to see her children grow up financially stable with a mother and family that loved them endlessly.

If you knew Erica, you know how much of an amazing person she was. She put everything before herself. She postponed a surgery that she desperately needed because of other things that had to be taken care of. She was a single mom of 2 beautiful children who will now grow up with no mommy.

Erica’s children will be with her brother and her cousins, and their family will be taking care of them both.

If there is any amount that you are able to spare for her memorial and for her children and family, it will be so greatly helpful and appreciated.
