On Friday, September 22, Erica had to have an emergency appendectomy surgery because her appendix was already leaking and about to rupture. She had to stay overnight in the hospital after the emergency surgery. It was so severe that she will be out of work for two weeks, so she will lose two weeks of pay as a single mother.

On top of this, she also has a busted water pipe two feet under ground in her driveway that must be fixed. The air conditioner in the house is broken, and her car needs a new fuel pump, filter, a catalytic converter, and new tires. They do say, "When it rains, it pours!" With that being said, Erica has been there for each of us at one time or another over the years, so let's show her our appreciation by being there for her.
