Eric Whitefield’s fight against brain cancer
Donation protected
Eric Whitefield was diagnosed with a stage 3 Glioblastoma, an incurable malignant tumor affecting the brain that grows and spreads rapidly. He had surgery and less than 50% was able to be removed.
Eric (age 34) and his wife, Aislinn Whitefield (age 36), a stay at home mom. Have been married six years. They have three children. Landon, a sixteen year old in high school, Lauren a twelve year old in middle school, and Emsley a six year old in elementary school. Through the years Eric has been showing his family how to live off the land, and has been a wonderful husband, father, son and uncle. He is the sole provider for his family.
His father is also battling lung cancer and Eric has been financially providing for his parents as well as his own family. Eric and Aislinn are also to be closing on a house within the next few weeks for their dream was to get out of their rental house. They made the tough decision to proceed with the closing, so Aislinn and the children won't have to worry about that once the Lord calls him home.
Eric has a very supportive network of family and close friends. They have come together in every way that they can...from making meals, running errands, helping with the children, or just sitting to chat. Eric knows that he is loved, and expresses his unending gratefulness through the many hugs, tears, and smiles.
Many have asked, “how can I help?” One way is to donate to this fund, an avenue of financial support to assist with medical bills, his children’s education, and the many upcoming challenges this family will go through over the next year.
We thank you for your support, please keep Eric and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
