Please help with Eric Sturgis’ fight with cancer

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts for our newest member of our family, Eric Sturgis. Eric has bravely been battling squamous cell carcinoma. He has undergone a grueling surgery to remove the cancer. Following that, he completed all radiation treatments, and even got ring the bell!

However, the cancer has returned as a mass in the same area and has now spread to his lungs and kidney. Eric has already begun chemotherapy, and the road ahead will be difficult. As he undergoes treatment, they are also managing the emotional and financial strains that come with this diagnosis.

My family and I can be too proud sometimes to ask for help, but in this case, any help would be amazing. Eric is not just a fighter but a loving partner to our sister and her children.

Their original wedding date was set for September 13th, 2024, but in light of Eric's condition, they chose to move it up so they could face this journey together as a married couple. This should be a time of joy and celebration, but instead, they are navigating an unimaginable challenge.

We are raising funds to support Eric's fight against this relentless disease and to ensure that he has the best possible care and quality of life.
