On June 18, 2020 Alina (14 years old) and Michael (8 years old) unexpectedly and tragically lost their father, Eric Severin, in a fatal motor vehicle accident. Eric was a loving father, brother and friend who gave selflessly to his children and those around him. His big hugs, deep dimples, generous heart and high energy will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
The outpouring of love, support and kindness in these last few days has been a great comfort to the family. We are grateful to be surrounded by so many people who loved and appreciated Eric. As we are learning how to navigate life without him, we want to make sure that we can offer Alina and Michael a bright and more secure future.
As these promise-filled children are grieving the loss of their father, they will need the love and support of their village more than ever before.
