Help Eric Stay in College – Support His Summer Quarter

Hello, my name is Eric Risley, and I’m working hard to continue my education at Bates Technical College. I’ve made it this far with a 3.95 GPA, and I’m proud of the dedication and persistence that has brought me here.

I’ve worked incredibly hard, especially given my circumstances. When I was just 16 years old, I was taken in by my aunt and uncle, who have done everything they can to support me and help me succeed. Their love and belief in me have fueled my drive to keep pushing forward.

My passion for computer technology is what keeps me motivated. It's not just something I love, it's something I’m good at. I know I have a future in this field, and I’m determined to reach it.

Unfortunately, my financial aid only covers Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters, leaving me without funds for the upcoming Summer Quarter. Tuition and fees will cost between $4,200 and $4,900, and the bill is due by mid-June.

I had a work-study job lined up to help cover this, but the program was paused due to low funding leaving me with limited options. I’m applying for scholarships, but they may not come through in time.
