Just wanted to update all that the laundry room, bathroom and front deck have been completed! Thank you again for helping Eric's family, just in time for his grandson's arrival in less than a month!

Our dear friend, coworker, and compadre, Eric McConnell passed away suddenly on Jan 21, 2024. Eric left us far too soon and was in the midst of completing his plans and projects to renovate his home for his pregnant daughter and his unborn grandson. Sadly, his untimely death has halted the project and his vision to proceed with the renovations.

Eric was thrilled about becoming a grandfather for the first time and shared the joyful news with everyone. He was so excited to welcome his first grandchild which sadly he didn’t get the opportunity to welcome to the world.

Recently, Eric had began renovations to his own home in preparation for his daughter Kayley and son-in-law Alex to move in and welcome the baby in a few short months.

Without Eric here now to financial support the project completion of the family home we are asking the community for support to provide a home for Kayley, Alex and Eric’s grandson.

Picking up where Eric left off is proving very difficult in so many ways for the young couple and any donation would be greatly appreciated.

We want to help this young family by gathering funds to complete the home and defray the costs of the renovations that Eric envisioned for his family. While no one can replace Eric’s personal touch, getting the job accomplished was significant to Eric and we want to complete this vision and goal of Eric’s so Kayley, Alex, and the baby can live in the home he dreamed of for his daughter and grandchild.

Please contribute whatever amount you can to honor Eric’s memory and bring his family home. We will forever miss Eric and are grateful for all he has done for us. He has done so many projects for so many of us and has been an integral employee of EBS Builders.

If we have raised more money than our goal to complete the cost of the renovations an education trust account will be established for Eric's grandchild. We thank you for your generosity and support to help Eric and his daughter as they navigate his loss and financial help to this young family.
