Was working on my motorcycle in the garage while my fiancé watched a movie with our 2 fur babies on a late Monday night. Never would had dreamed what happen next would change our lives forever. Someone had taken the key from my motorcycle in my garage causing me to have to remove the ignition to replace it. While draining the gas from bottom of the tank the funnel had fallen over and gas started pour everywhere. Instinctively did what most would do and went to catch it. Without thinking to much about it knowing I’d unplugged everything as gas quickly was going all over the floor and myself. From there not sure what happen as something ignited the fuel on  myself and the bike into complete flames. From there all I could remember was my entire body was engulfed in flames while i was screaming for my fiancé with our 2 dogs to run. She says as she turned to look back towards me screaming, all she could see was me as a ball of fire completely engulfed and not knowing what to do besides grab the fur babies and run because there was nothing she could do with how big the fire was. This was no small fire that grew out of hand. This was an explosion that consumed me and everything around me filled with over 150gal of 97 octane non ethanol race fuel. As I sat there completely on fire a 5gal gas can that I’d been draining the gas in exploded on me. I remember the fire faded down off my Face, Even tho the rest of my body was still burning as i could feel my skin just melting, I saw the manual garage cable and thought I could open the garage door that way as the door through to the kitchen was blocked . As I tried to pull the cable it had snapped in half being melted from the fire. I remember thinking this is it I’m going to burn alive, I’m going to die in here as all i could see and feel around me was the fire growing with all the black smoke choking me. I have no idea how i got out of there and just remember  next being outside not knowing how I had got there as the fire only grew bigger and bigger with huge explosions consuming everything we possibly had. The police fire and ambulance arrived after being delayed because they were blocked by the train and was to late as the fire fighters did all they could and the ambulance picked me and took me to the burn unit. Not sure what I will do as the insurance only covered the bank loans and nothing else. Asking everyone during these extremely hard times for prayers and a blessing from God. 03/01/2021
