Eric Legault Medical Fund, on behalf of his wife Jan Legault

Hello everyone, (French version below - Merci)

As most of you are aware, on September 5th Eric suffered a choking incident causing him to go into cardiac arrest. This has resulted in him having a Hypoxic Isemic Brain Injury.

After spending 30 days in the ICU at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Eric was stable enough to be flown by Air Ambulance back to Ontario.

He is now in ICU at Guelph General Hospital.

The love and support Eric and Jan have felt from family and friends has been overwhelming. We continue to pray for Eric's recovery, sending him strength and hope.

As the Air Ambulance fee was not covered by the Ontario Government, and was paid by Eric and Jan, we ask that you help in making a donation towards the cost.

Also hotel costs were incurred for Jan the entire month, as well arranging to have Eric's Truck and trailer brought back home to Ontario.

Comme vous le savez déjà le 5 septembre Eric s’est étouffé par accident. Par la suite, il a eu une crise cardiaque et maintenant à un lésion cérébrale ischémique hypoxique.

Après avoir passé 30 jours dans des soins intensifs à Calgary, Eric était assez stable pour être transporté par ambulance aérienne à Guelph en Ontario, où il reste toujours dans des soins intensifs.

On continue à encourager Eric et Jan et faire des prières pour eux et pour le rétablissement de Eric.

A cause que les frais d’ambulance aérienne étaient pas couverts par le gouvernement de l’Ontario, Jan et Eric ont payé eux- même. De plus, il y avait des frais pour l’hôtel pour Jan pour le mois de septembre et aussi les frais pour transporter le camion et la remorque en Ontario.
