Eric Davis Needs Our Help for Medical Expenses!!

Hi! My names is Deborah Mayer and I’m holding a fundraiser event for Eric Davis.

Eric Davis was born and raised in Giddings Texas. Throughout his life in Giddings, he has been a part of several different organizations and clubs, including the GVFD, Lee County Youth Football, LaGrange Youth Football and and Lee County Juneteenth. Recently, Eric has hit a rough patch full of medical issues which have resulted in him missing a lot of work and incurring a lot of medical debt due to him being uninsured. In March he was hospitalized for 6 days due to congestive heart failure and an excessive amount of fluid retention. He was out of work for a month and a half before he was released on light duty. In the beginning of June he was admitted to the hospital for 9 days due to mild sepsis and a diabetic ulcer on his foot which required surgery. Eric is currently at home on the mend but is non weight bearing on his one side. He has several appointments and different doctors on his team in Austin making sure he stays on the right path. But with those circumstances and the unknown length the ulcer needs to heal, he has no date of when he’ll be able to return to work. All proceeds will go towards his medical care (supplies and travel expenses for medical appointments) and necessary bills. He is hoping to fully recover and is missing out on doing his every day activities but he especially misses officiating at AAU and TAAF track meets. We truly appreciate any and everything anyone blesses him with to get through this tough time.
