Hi, I’m Brenda Marsh, Eric’s wife and race manager, and I’m excited to share that at 71 years old, Eric has embarked on the adventure of a lifetime – the Mini Globe Yacht Race 2025! This global sailing event will take him across 30,000 nautical miles in a 5.80-meter hand-built boat named SUNBEAR, testing his skills and endurance.

This race is not only a lifelong dream for Eric, but he would also like to raise awareness for a cause that is very close to his heart. Eric will be donating 20% of all funds raised to Melba Disability Support Services to help improve the lives of those with disabilities.
