THE TEAM THE TEAM THE TEAM. Words all of us recognize from our days in Ann Arbor. Those words have a totally different meaning as one of our most beloved “Treetown Love” fellow members is in need of that team spirit.

Eric James Caroen is taking on a battle and road ahead that needs the support, love and financial backing of friends, family members and admirers of “E” as we like to call him.

On July 19th, Eric had a major brain seizure and has been in a coma, but against all predictions (doctors said he may not wake up for months!) he opened his eyes and responded to familiar people's voices this past week!  This is MASSIVE but there is a long road ahead.

Each of you has an amazing heart, and the passion and loyalty that we know will shine as brightly as a big smile that was often on Eric’s face with any of us who were lucky enough to be in his graceful presence…especially when he was blasting one of his many new “best hip hop songs I ever heard" moods.

Each of you is a leader, right now we need to come together as a team to ensure that Eric and his parents are in the best position possible to take on this challenge. They are not alone with each of us involved and active participants.

Your support will help ensure Eric has the best care and rehabilitation support, while also helping his family manage this massive road to recovery.  Team support and giving back is a huge part of each of you and is part of our Ann Arbor DNA.

Let's step up and make a difference.  Eric and his family are counting on the DNA of Ann Arbor, Eric's friends and the life-long spirit of 'Treetown Love" to continue to shine.
