Eric Cannon Celebration Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday, February 9th My little brother Eric V Cannon passed away from an epileptic seizure. My little brother couldn't have lived a more full life in his beautiful 26 years here. On Wednesday Eric had an amazing work out at his Jujitsu studio (New Breed Jiu Jitsu Kauai), came home and went to sleep. When he went to sleep on Wednesday he was so happy, the happiest I have seen him in a very long time. Just so everyone reading this knows, he was never scared or felt alone. Only Happy. He never remembered his seizures the next day.
He just bought his first new electric car last week, which he picked up all my family from the airport in on different days. He had created an amazing home for himself and was completely solar powered, he was bragging to me about his beautiful new garden he planted and how all the seeds were starting to sprout. My brother left this place at the best possible time. He was so so happy. My brother Neil, his family, and I were on island to celebrate two weddings of our lifelong friends/ family The Zietz. Eric was going to be my date...
I have created this page to accept any donations towards Eric's wonderful celebration of life on Saturday, February 18th. We would be using the funds to help cover celebration costs and travel costs for some family members. Anything over this amount will be donated to the children's Jiu Jitsu class at New Breed Kauai.
I would also like to take this opportunity to give a huge Mahalo to our Kauai Ohana and all of Erics brothers at New Breed Ju Jitsu for their outpouring of love for my little brother. If making a dontation please be sure to Leave your name and a way for me to contact you.
From Eric's InstaGram (cannon808):
The best gift is the one you've earned "The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential...these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence" and "It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop." A couple great quotes by a favorite philosopher of mine, Confucius.
