Eric is my “brother” and in this Framily, no one walks alone

Proud Navy Veteran, Eric "Alpha-Bet" Doerzbacher served this country for 2 years until he sustained a traumatic brain injury. This motivated him to devote his life to supporting veterans in many different aspects. He is the Road Captain for the U.S. Militia RC - National Chapter, a riding club devoted to supporting veterans and active duty military. Eric is the first one to step up and help someone in need, especially a veteran. That's what makes creating this fundraiser for him so much harder. He's not the type to ask for help, more like the one to be giving it, however right now he needs our help. Eric started having some abdominal pains in February 2023, and like most men, wrote it off and it did subside. Lately though, it had gotten more severe and eventually he landed in the ER because of unbearable pains. After many tests and scans, it was the diagnosis no person ever wants to hear,

" you have cancer" and in Eric's case, it has metastasized. His kidney, bowel and lungs are affected. Eric is currently at UH Seidman in Cleveland and will be having surgery to remove his kidney and the mass attached, then will be requiring chemo / radiation. This is going to be a long, and potentially expensive journey for Eric as he is not going through the VA for this. This is the reason for this Gofundme for him and his wife, Debra. Deb has been by Eric's side since this started and she will always continue to be, however that is taking its toll financially also as she has to drive from Rock Creek to Cleveland daily and pay $15 for parking. The money raised by this Gofundme will help support them both through this journey.

Eric is a strong and stubborn man and we have faith he will kick cancer's A S S !!
